General information about your trip:

Currency - in Romania we use the local currency RON which are also called Lei, while in most countries in Europe the currency Euro is used so we also express the prices of courses in Euro. The exchange rate is around 4.5 Lei for 1 Euro. Bucharest is a city where you will find over 20 different types of international banks on almost every street and we recommend using a bank exchange service instead of other exchange offices such as the ones from the airport.

Weather - weather in Bucharest is between 20 and 38 degrees celsius during  summer months May to September. It is mostly sunny with seldom rainy days. Winters are short and snow doesn't last very much.

Prices - Bucharest is not an expensive city like London. A night at a central 4 stars hotel costs around 100 Euro. In Bucharest you can get a beer at a pub for 2-3 Euro and an entrance to the largest thermal baths in Europe called Therme https://therme.ro is 19 Euro. Taxi fares are around 0.9 euro per kilometer for premium services such as Mercedes cars and less than 0.5 euro per kilometer for regular services.

Airport transfer: Upon request we can arrange for a paid transfer service, with a private pick up service (call Mugur Vladuca at +40 744 324 921) or you can use the touch screen devices to order a taxi from 10 different companies from the airport exit lobby.
